Chubby's look out...
(Hint: Click pictures to get the full effect! Haha)
Since arriving in Ohio, Joey's grandpa has been a wonderful host. He made us a great dinner the night we arrived and then made us a wonderful breakfast the next morning.
This morning we decided
to change things up and go out for breakfast. Tee Jay's, the place Joey hasn't stopped raving about, was our destination. I knew it was going to be good the moment we set down with the menu. First picture in the menu was of the barnyard Buster; it didn't do it justice. I decided to brave the challenge and ordered it, Joey of course did the same. We sat and talked as the cooks were preparing our plates in the kitchen. I couldn't help but be a little bit excited; it has been a while since I have had a really good restaurant breakfast. When the waitress arrived with our food, defeat immediately hit me. The mound of gravy covered 3 biscuits, 2 eggs, and a huge pile of skillet potatoes was as big as my head. I knew I wouldn't finish it, but I was going to try.
Results: Joey and his grandpa finished theirs off easily as I made it about halfway. I really wanted to finish it but I physically couldn't make it happen. It was delicious and Joey's multiple ravings about this place are definitely true. It was the best breakfast I have had at a restaurant. Second only to my Mom's; you can't beat homemade.

Chillin' at the HOLIDAY INN!
After a very short 7 hour drive, we finally found a chance to just relax on our vacation, *whew*... The drive wasn't too bad; I think it was easier because I hadn't been out of Texas in a LONNNNG time, so there was a lot of new scenery... TREES! Too many trees to be honest, not very good for taking pictures, haha.
Just a note: Joey's "Twister" was a dirt devil throwing up grass... It was really cool, it was throwing stuff about 30 feet in the air! I wish I could have video taped it.
After a long day of driving we got to the hotel and crashed for a short nap, put to sleep by the wonderful Science Channel... and one of my favorite shows, "How Do They Do It?" I'm a dork, I know. I'm not much of a nap person, but I slept great, only to be woken up by our growling stomachs. Having not eaten anything substantial in 7 hours, haha, it was time for dinner.
Now we are happy, full, and sleeeeepy. More blogging to come. We are really looking forward to the 10 hour drive tomorrow! Haha..
This made me think of Brant, haha,

In Memphis...
We're in Memphis, made it. the drive was really not as bad as I thought. Lexi took a ton of cool pictures and is about to load them up. She should really take up photography, shes good at it. Except sometimes she takes pictures of things that I really don't understand. The room is awesome at Holiday Inn and the hotel is nice. I didn't see any la quintas around but there is probably one somewhere. We saw a HUGE twister in a field beside the highway, biggest I have ever seen picking up dead hay and grass. Hopefully some more cool things on the road tomorrow.
